Our Experiences

In today's world of downsizing, cost cutting, expanded expectations and increased demands from government with the allocation of fewer and fewer resources and low or no profits, consultants provide valuable services to government. They help organizations meet their needs without the overhead of benefits and other costs associated with hiring additional full-time salaried employees for short to medium length periods.

With this knowledge in mind, Catalyst has selected some of the best consultants available. As their resumes attest, our consultants are well educated, formallly trained in the areas for which we are proposing to conduct training or provide consultative services. More importantly, they have successfully applied these principles and practices. Further, they have experimented, learned from mistakes and formulated models based on these experiences that will assist employees to be more effective in their operations.

Organizations contracting with Catalyst for services will benefit from the collective experience and expertise of the Catalyst consultants. Even though a lead consultant and others will be assigned to each training session and consultation, the sessions will be developed by the group with total group support and assessment. When necessary, the materials and experiences will be revised to meet the needs of participants and the customer.

Catalyst differentiates between training and consultations by the length of the programming and the nature of the involvement. Training is generally a one or two day session on a specific topic with limited follow-up. Consultation, on the other hand is based on an extensive analysis of the customers needs, working with the customer to implement agreed upon changes and extensive follow up. We group the training and consultations into the following areas (or clusters):
